Wireless motion sensors known as PIR’s are used to detect body movement in an open space. This solar powered wireless outdoor PIR has both Passive Infrared and Microwave sensor technology which consists of a digital dual-core fuzzy logic infrared control chip which means it effectively identifies human body movement. There is a rechargeable lithium battery which provides up to 150 days of standby power. It is recharged by the solar panel each day however if there is no sun for long periods the lithium battery will last up to approximately 5 months.
