The security products we sell have been designed by Chuango Security Technology as self-installation or D.I.Y.
With this in mind customers should have no trouble installing one of our security alarm systems into most applications such as a home, sleep-out, office, shop, storage shed, boat, caravan or other similar locations.
Being a wireless security alarm system makes it very easy to install and removes the need to run wires between alarm sensors and the security alarm control panel.
It is important to note that the Chuango G5W (3g) and AW1 Plus WiFi alarm panels must be connected to a mains power point using the supplied 12volt DC power adaptor. You do not need an electrician as long as there is a mains power point available within one metre of where you plan to install the alarm panel.
It is also important to be aware that the mains powered outdoor strobe siren ‘WS-280’ must be plugged into a mains power point using the supplied 12volt DC power adaptor. The power point needs to be within 10 metres of the strobe siren. If it is further away you can use an extension cord.
The solar powered outdoor strobe siren ‘SPS-260’ simply relies on some sunlight to recharge the built-in battery. This option is fantastic if you do not have a mains power point available. The ‘SPS-260’ can last for up to 30 days without sunlight. Be sure to install this unit in a location that receives sunlight all year round and not in a shady area or directly under an eave.
To complete the installation of your home security alarm system you will need a ladder, one small and one medium sized Philips head screwdriver, a drill set, maybe a pen or pencil and ruler so you can measure and mark where you are going to install the panel and wireless sensors and detectors.
If you do not feel you are capable of completing the installation or would prefer to have someone install it for you, you might like to contact your electrician or handyman. Otherwise give us a call and we will check to see if we have if anyone in your area that could install it for you.
In case you are concerned about technical issues or worried about how to set up the system, we give you piece of mind because Security Alarm Services provides free after-sales technical support to assist with any queries you may have. We are available between 9am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
