The K1 is Smanos’ latest wireless, integrated smart home and security gateway, combining Butler- and Guard-like functions into a stack of aesthetically pleasing round discs. The Smanos K1 offers intuitive on-site as well as remote smartphone operation rendering the powers of the K1-enabled smart homes virtually limitless, up to 50 connected but wireless, DIY-friendly, battery-powered devices, including sensors (door/window, intrusion/motion, water and more), UFO panoramic camera (PT-180H) and smart video doorbell (DB-20) all on one single app (iOS or Android).

The K1 smart hub is compatible with Google® Assistant and Amazon® Alexa, you can simply ask Google or Alexa to arm away, disarm with your pin code and arm stay (Home mode) with your own voice. The K1 also works with Philips® Hue lights which means you can turn on and off your Philips® Hue lights when arm, disarm, home mode or when the K1 triggers the alarm, you can also set up the scene, brightness of your Philips® Hue lights in a way you like.

The Smanos K1 offers so much more than traditional alarm systems. The K1 works with IFTTT – ‘If This Then That’ is a free platform that helps you do more with all your apps and devices. The K1 integrates with other smart home devices such as August Smart Lock, Danalock, Hive thermostat, Ecobee, LIFX lights, Logitech pop and Tado Smart AC through IFTTT app. With IFTTT app, you can disarm the K1 when you are about to arrive at home, call your mobile when alarm is triggered and message your car (BMW) when K1 is set to arm mode.
