Wireless roller / tilt door sensors also commonly known as Reed switches are used to detect when someone opens the door. The Reed switch is housed in steel casing and this section of the sensor is secured to the floor or the side of the door frame. The magnet is then secured to the moving part of the door.
When the Reed switch and magnet are separated the wireless transmitter sends a signal to the Chuango wireless alarm panel. If the alarm is armed it will be triggered resulting in an alarm condition. It is possible to put an entry / exit delay on the sensor which will allow you enough time to leave or entry the property without setting the alarm off.
